Creek Leather was established in 2019 when Katherine was looking for a satchel. Unable to find exactly what she wanted, and missing a creative outlet now that she was no longer writing, she drew up a design, bought leather and tools, and made her own. The bag was soon commandeered by a friend, then others started putting in their own requests, so Katherine bought more leather and tools and set up her workshop.
The brand and the individual bag names are an acknowledgement of the many rivers and creeks in the Coffs Harbour area where Katherine lives with her wife.
Each Creek item is made of quality full grain leather, and Katherine cuts and stitches them entirely by hand.
