Welcome to katherinehowell.com. Katherine’s first book, ‘Frantic’, was released by Pan Macmillan in May 2007 in Australia, and will be published in 2008/09 in France, Germany, Italy, Russia and the UK. Her second book, ‘The Darkest Hour ’, is scheduled for release in Australia in 2008.

While Detective Ella Marconi is the ongoing character in the series, each book also features a different paramedic as a main character whose life is thrown into turmoil. This enables Katherine to draw on her fifteen years experience as an ambulance officer, bringing a gripping sense of reality and drama to the stories. Read more
